Board Sports Manufacturing
Since 1977
Freesport has been developing and manufacturing board sports and winter sports products since 1977. From our beginnings as a small assembly factory, we have grown into a manufacturing group with two factories and production capabilities covering boards, skis, skates, ski liners, and snowboard boots.
FREESPORT CORP., formerly FREE CHINA CO. LTD., was founded in 1977. What began as a small assembly factory with 30 workers has grown into a manufacturing organization with two factories and established production capabilities for boards, skis, skates, and ski liners.
OEM manufacturing has remained an important part of our business, supporting international brands with product development, manufacturing expertise, and production capabilities.
From Snowboard Development
to Professional Manufacturing
Freesport Snowboards was originally established in California, USA. In 1998, the turn-key project moved its facilities, technicians, and technical know-how to the Freesport factory in Kunshan, China.
With strict quality control, efficient management, and stable production capabilities, Freesport has supported well-known brands including Salomon, Nordica, Benetton, and DBX.
Beyond snowboards, our manufacturing capabilities have expanded to skis, kiteboards, wakeboards, bikeboards, and other board-related products.
Today, Freesport (Kunshan) operates as a professional board manufacturing facility.
From Skates to
Winter Sports Equipment
Freesport Skates began as one of the original product lines of Freesport Corp. in Taiwan.
In 1992, production of inline skates, roller skates, and figure skates moved to Dongguan, China, where production reached millions of pairs per year.
In 2000, Freesport supported the relocation of HEAD ski liner production from Europe to our factory, further strengthening our expertise in stitching, materials, and winter sports footwear.
Today, Freesport (Dongguan) provides manufacturing capabilities for skates, winter sporting shoes, ski liners, and snowboard boots.
